Psychotherapy & Counselling
How therapy Can Support You
A space to pause, feel heard and make snese of what you’re experiencing.
Whether you are navigating a difficult time, notciing patterns you would like to understand or seeking a deeper connection with yourself, therapy offers space to explore what matters to you, at your own pace.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. You may know exactly what has brought you to therapy, or simply feel that something isn’t quite right. We can begin wherever you are.
Some of the experiences we can explore together include:
Anxiety, worry and feeling overwhelmed
Low mood, feeling disconnected or a loss of motivation
Difficult or traumatic experiences
Relationship difficulties and family dynamics
Self-esteem, self-criticism, and confidence
Grief, loss and changes
Stress, emotional exhaustion and boundaries
Questions about identity, purpose and what matters to you
Your experiences dont need to fit a particular label to deserve care and attention.
At The Therapy Co, our approach is warm, collaborative and shaped around you. We recognise that everyone brings different experiences, needs and hopes to therapy, so we take time to understand what matters to you.
Our work is integrative, drawing on person-centred therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and positive psychology. This allows us to tailor sessions to your needs, rather than follow one fixed approach.
Trauma-informed practice underpins our work, with careful attention to emotional safety, choice, personal boundaries and your individual pace. Together, we can explore how your experiences have shaped you, while recognising your strengths and supporting the changes you would like to make.
You don’t need to arrive with the right words or a clear plan. We offer space to reflect, develop understanding and move forward in a way that feels meaningful and manageable for you.

Taking the first step
We begin with a free 20-minute introductory call. This is an opportunity to briefly discuss what you’re looking for, ask questions and explore whether working together feels right.
If we decide to move forward, we will arrange your first session. Together, we’ll explore your needs, what you hope to gain from therapy and practical details such as session frequency, confidentiality and its limits.
There is no obligation to book further sessions after the introductory call.
